The show I am most eagerly anticipating this season is the United States of Tara. While the subject of the show - dissociative identity disorder, also known as multiple personality disorder - has been tackled in the past, never before has it been such a thorough investigation of the far reaching effects of this unique mental condition. Honestly, I think this exploration of the disorder is why The United States of Tara is my favorite show. In addition, the raw circumstances and emotion that are played out on the screen are unlike anything else that could be seen on regular cable television.

What I also like about the United States of Tara is ho! w the characters on the show are all flawed individuals with very human characteristics. At the same time, there is a physical draw to the characters that bring about a feeling of familiarity - you can really identify with their feelings, if not the exact circumstances they find themselves enduring. As a result, you understand - if not always agree - with their actions. Rarely do you see that kind of genuine portrayal written for an audience. In the end, the United States of Tara is pretty much the sole reason I purchased the premium package for my Directv, and now I have found so many other shows to enjoy as well.

there are three things that are on the top of my wish list this festive discount season.

I still remember beatings in school, although I wasn't the one who used to get beating [better student :p], I think the world has changed a lot.

Being the technologist myself, sometimes I am really scared of seeing all the world wired. I as a customer may feel and enjoy the benefits of the technology but as a technician I wonder who will be tapping my phone lines, my internet lines to get my credit card details and rip me off. I like the credit cards for the pure function that they were invented for. But I feel uncomfortable about the abuse that they can go through and put you in an unhappy situation.

Anyways, talking about Credit cards, they have changed the consumer finance in a way that no other invention has. And until and unless the service is abused, there is no other service that gives you as much comfort. Although the name is quite funny, the site looks efficient. I mean why would you want to call your business lemon? But then the color is beautiful, one of my favorites and then all that matters is service.

I choose to not talk about Islam or for that matter any religion in particular and at the same time I would want to respect anyone's sentiments and religion who respects mine and gives me enough privacy to practice it.

Is PayPerPost going for an IPO?

I do not have an official word but this is the kind of thing that has been doing rounds and I have heard that the posties would be the one's who are all set to make huge sums after this IPO. Every posties depending upon his or her length association with PPP would be given shares in the new listed public company. I won't really mind if they are giving me 500 shares [as I have completed around 5 months with PayPerPost ;) - 100 for each month] and each share is word $25 :D

Anyways, it remains to be seen and I hope we get to hear the big news that everyone is talking about. But then whenever there is some buzz happening at PPP, it take it as some new opportunity to make money. Though there is one thing that I hope PPP help its bloggers with and that is helping them popularize their blogs. More and more opportunities are wanting the blogs to have higher Google page ranks and Alexa scores, thus it becomes important that more and more PPP posties are able to take these opportunities. Anyways I am looking forward to the brand new declaration that is going to be made by PPP people.

Although I don't get a lot of time to read blogs and update mine but I do try to keep myself updated with some good tech blogs that I read. JMH Techtronics is one of those and the reason can be seen in the post about the future of internet searching and Google search. There has been a lot of talk about how the internet is going to evolve and although at this moment there seems to be not control over the organization over the way internet is building over itself, there has to be some authoritative control on the internet body.

Even if there is no such controlling body in the near future, it is very apparent that people looking for search would get a lot of variety to choose from. And as Jim quoted the announcement about Wikipedia, it would be killer market ahead.
