Mobile TV in India - earlier than expected

If you ever thought that Mobile TV is a far off dream for India then you would be surprised how early is the service poised to be launched here.

Nokia and teamed up with the national broadcaster DD to provide mobile TV services in the country. Testing of the service would begin next year. Although the service would be available only on N92 phone model but it would soon be extended to other models. The service would be based on Nokia's open standard-based DVB-H technology.
