Microsoft Windows Live Mobile search service for Sprint users

In an attempt to gain strong foothold in the mobile based internet search market, major software players are collaborating with different wireless carriers to provide search services. These search integrate paid ads which is greatest source of revenue in the traditional desktop search market.

Sprint, one of the biggest wireless network carriers in the US, has launched Microsoft Windows Live search service. Under this service the end users would be able to see the Windows Live search bar on the top of their screen when they would access the Internet. There would be no additional costs to use this service. They would be able to search for content inside the Sprint content portal or search for mobile services outside.
