New kind of RAM chips

Samsung has come up with a technology to build new memory devices that would increase the performance of multimedia of the mobile devices by enhancing the performance of communication between CPUs by five times and would also reduce the power consumption by around 30%.

This new RAM would include multiple DRAM and SRAM sticks in side the single chip called the OneDRAM. This would target those phone that are multimedia intensive devices and would be launched in later 2007.
