I have never really understood why aliens have to be so ugly as they have been imagined to be. I mean before MIB [and even after MIB], the aliens are shown to be something like very unlike humans and not beautiful. Either we as humans can't fathom anything as beautiful if it does not resemble humans or we do not have the imagination to think something which nature has already done.
