The livestock show
How do you think would it feel like to own a $100,000 goat? I know you might be surprised to hear that kind of sum and not believe what if am writing or even thing that it is a typo but friends typo it is not and yes that it the amount that was paid for the Grand Champion goat that was purchased at the Junior Market auction category at the Houston Livestock Show in 2006.
The Houston Livestock show and Rodeo which is a charity has donated more than $5 million in education support in the financial year of 2006 – 2007. More than 1900 student enrolled into different Texan universities on direct Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo scholarships.
Those who have never attended the show and now feel excited after reading this one and do plan to attend the next Rodeo, they can plan accordingly. The next tentative dates for the show are Feb 26th to March 16th in 2008. For those who are excited enough to buy Houston Rodeo concert tickets now, they have plenty of options still left.
So guys, this time go have fun and be a part of an effort to send another deserving kid to college.
