Satellite radio on mobile
I don't know if this is a coincidence or something else, but am I correct in believing that a digital service was developed and launched in a third world country earlier than a world leader?
Earlier, I reported about a satellite music streaming service that was launched under the brand name Radio Mundu through which consumers can listen to an array of digital music channels. A similar kind of service was launched by Cingular on November 6th.
Gizmodo reports that Cingular will start a radio service under the branding of XM for a set monthly fee. The users can tune in to a list of digital streamed channels. Users can get the data related to the music on their mobile phones too.
