Creating family tree and finding your relatives worldwide

I do not really understand what do people find so amusing in knowing about their family tree, their ancesters, the great great grand fathers and their such distant cousins lying in some unknown part of the world. But to admit the truth, I myself want to know who all in this wrld are related to me - if I have a relative in Norway or Japan. Internet is somehow making this all remotely possible too.



One of the latest tools is ZOOOF, The Family Network. A site where you can create a flash based family tree and invite people to come and add themselves and create family trees themselves. Although the website is in beta stage at this moment but they are planning to leave the beat stage behind and go live from the valentine's day - the 14th of Feb. The site would still be free and all the functions would be available.

There are currently beta users who range from around 49 countries. The privacy at the website is strictly regarded and will be when it goes live on 14th of February.
