Police getting proactive about mobile phone thefts

At last there is a glimmer of hope for those poor souls who are very susceptible to loosing their newly bought mobile phones.

Delhi Police has collaborated with Punjab Police to trace the stolen mobile phones through their IMEI numbers. Delhi Police has asked their counterparts from Punjab to trace the second hand mobile dealers and hold them responsible for any stolen mobile phone that they sell. The 2nd hand mobile phone dealers have to now keep record of all the mobile phones that they are selling and the people buying them.
