1 Gb DRAM introduced by Samsung

I blogged some time back about the new 512 Mbit DRAM chip that was developed by Hynix for the mobile devices.

Samsung has come up with a 1 Gb DRAM chip which they claim is at least 20% thinner and is 30% efficient in power consumption. I hope we are in for all the more lighter and smaller mobile devices sooner than later.
