Popup advertisement banners on Mobiles
Yahoo will start testing banner based advertisement on the devices of their users who are the mobile subscribers of major US based network carriers starting later on this week.
The banners would not take more than a quarter of the mobile screen and the user would be able to choose between visiting the advertiser's website or remain at the original page. This would make the service device dependent. The subscribers would see these advertisements while using browser based Yahoo! mobile services and while using Yahoo! mobile web email.
