Idea Cellular wins an award

At the recently concluded 3GSM congress at Barcelona, Spain, India had something to cheer about too. Indian mobile operator Idea Cellular, a company with the backing of Aditya Birla Group, won an award in the 12th Annual GSM Association Global Mobile Awards.

Nokia launches new innovative mobile models

Two of the new interesting phones that Nokia has launched at the 3GSM congress in Barcelona, Spain have to be E90 and N77. The N77 would be having mobile-TV streaming facility which supports DVB-H format. The E90 would be supporting connectivity based on GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS and HSDPA. Other than these technologies, the phone will also support Bluetooth, Infrared, miniUSB and Wi-Fi. The phone is based on Symbian 9.1 OS.

Another new mobile phone model by Nokia - GSM enabled

A new GSM integrated phone launched by Nokia at the 3GSM congress in 6110 Navigator. It has been long pending since the mobile manufacturer launched the device. The Navigator support 3G and HSDPA connectivity and is shipped with the Nokia Navigator application for GSM based services support.
