Beat those Credit Cark chargebacks

We all are always happy to buy that nice chick shirt online which we can't find in the local store and had got a tip from the friend that he got it from NYC. Plus we have credit card to fear. Although it has never happened to us but that does not mean that it can not happen with us. If it is not who have incur the loos it could be the mechant who does on our Credit card transaction. And this is not good news. Everyone wants and deserves a pest-free social setup and economic safety.

What happens if your are a merchant and you just swiped a card which said that the transaction is successful but you got charged back on that transaction. You lost the money and the stuff that you shipped. What do you do? You call up preCharge. They work by simply buying any chargeback that a merchant gets on any preCharge covered transaction.

They are a great, efficient, ethical company and offer a win-win situation to the merchants on their credit card and such online transactions.

Mobile phone with satellite navigation system

What do you think is the best way to beat anything from getting stolen?

Have a Global Positioning System (GPS) integrated into it?

Correct.

And now mobile phones will come integrated with GPS device which acts as a tracking system and the phone gets locked if it is taken too far from an area as well as has facial recognition support integrated. Japanese company NTT DoCoMo are going to launch P903i for sale soon which uses satellite navigation and can be used as a credit card too.

Why do customers switch?

Frankly speaking I have never faced any problem with the mobile carrier. There are never any delays or mistakes in the bills or billing cycles. The customer care people know what they are talking about and my problems, if any, are addressed quickly. I hope this remains this way.

But the good news stops at the mobile carrier itself. My best buddy's mobile carrier is the worst in this world. He has a post-paid account and every second time there is a mistake in his bill. It can be wrong calling minutes or long distance calls when he never makes any. And their customer care dept. is the dumbest of all services-providers. They wither don't know or don't care to explain and / or assure.

My ISP was another service provider which I was unhappy with. I had subscribed to a package with a data download cap of 500 MBs per month. And it always seem to get used up even on those month when I used to be out of the city on business. They din't have any mechanism to show me the daily breakup of my usage. I threatend to switch and ultimately did.

Although, I used to get calls from them claiming that their won't be any such issues in future, but I don't know if they really cared about me as a customer. And I believe there would be many customers like me who would have decided to
Churn.

I hope that there are no such other experiences that I might face in future. I hope that service-providers hire someone like Callminer if they are loosing customers and don't know why but really want to exist in the marketplace.

Affiliate Marketing getting popular

What is affiliate marketing?

It is a mode of marketing where you pay your customers to bring more customers in. It is this simple. The philosophy behind is that if a person likes your product than his friends who must have tastes matching his/her would like it too. Thus the lead conversion odds are much higher as compared to normal marketing approaches.

How big is the market?
I was being told by an active internet based affiliate marketer friend of mine that it has grown to around $2 billion :O

If the two questions are basic and if they have initiated curiosity in you then you can visit Affiliate Marketing Forums - Revenue Source and can start something. You won't take much time to make money if you are good.

DIY

How many times has it happened with you that the electric switch is not working or the water tap of the wash basin in the bathroom has started leaking and getting nasty by the minute and you are broke or no plumber is currently available? Or how many times, after the plumber or the electrician or other such guy have ripped you off, and you thought that you could have done it yourself so easily and saved yourself a month's beer supply.

If you have felt like this more than you should be then you should be referring one good DIY guide which can help you save money on so many household works and give you a $50,000 Extreme Home Makeover.

Now you would ask, "“What is DIY?"” To answer you all a little ignorant ones, DIY is Do It Yourself.

And now if the idea of saving all that money that you spend on plumbers, electricians, mechanics appeal to you then read home repair at this great website which contains other such sections for carpentry, cleaning, safety, pest control, and landscaping etc. other than most popular electrical, plumbing and automobile mechanics and all others which can be included in home makeover.

Taking an example of pests control and pets grooming, they give you useful tips on how to keep pests out and how to avoid any kind of disease that they carry. Not just home remodeling, they also have information about how to groom your loving pets. Tips like "“Keep fruit in the refrigerator -– especially when ripe"” go a long way in saving expensive fruits and veggies from getting wasted.

Sony Ericsson's new Bluetooth watch

They have been shown doing multiple stuff like shooting bullets, becoming walkie talkie, a video conferencing tool as well as a bomb but they never seem to appear in the popular public domain. I really am not able to understand why. Maybe because the biggest constraint - size - is still not beaten by the researchers. But it seems companies are still keen on bringing out super-watches. Wrist watches that are.

Sony Ericssson have just launch a new Bluetooth watch MBW-100 which is actually manufactured by Fossil. The watch has analog time display and can be synchronised with Sony Ericsson mobile phones. It shows the silent incoming call information, text messages [although non-scrollable] and can be synchronised with the mobile's time.

Story about making money from blogging

I have not been paid anything till now but it shows that my first payment from PayPerPost is due in less than 10 days. And it would be an average of $5 per day for next one month if I stop writing today [which I will NOT] :D

Johny told me about them. He is into internet marketing and he is good at it. He leads a team of 5-6 people who are all senior to him in age. He himself is just 25.

The highest paid people on PPP have made like $2000+ in around less than 4 months. I wonder how? At $500 per month the average is pretty high as compared to mine. I will make around $300 in the first month which makes the top earner's aggregate 66% more than mine :O

Maybe earlier the opportunities were very high-paying as compared to now.

But I am still not sad. If I do $10 worth of posts daily, it would sum up to roughly around $3650 in an year. Part time, the amount is not bad though I wish it is a bit more [enough to buy a SUV for myself :D ;) ].

Watch your home on your mobile

Burglary attempt was foiled when an owner of a house in UK received a text message on his mobile phone saying that the burglar alarm at his residence has been set off. He was on vacation at that time.

He was able to then see police arresting the burglars from his home on his mobile phone. The gadgets has been brought by WatchNET and they enable owners to keep a watch on their homes through their mobiles.

A Samsung mobile phone whose looks I like

Samsung has collaborated and have been working with a company called Bang & Olufsen for creating a mobile phone that looks very different from what we use today.

The phone is called Serene. And by the very first looks of it, it indeed gives a feeling of serenity.

The phone has its keyboard in the upper half as opposed to the norm today and has a circular keyboard. It has a loud speaker system integrated and the thumb wheel inside the circular keyboard is used for navigation [presumably the way it works in notepads].

While charging the phone's display switched 180 degrees which makes it look like a desktop phone and proves quite usable.

Other than its looks, the phone boasts of normal features such as SMS, MMS and Bluetooth. It also has a VGA Camera and the display screen is 2.1 inches with a resolution of 240x320. The phone has supports GPRS and is Triband [900/1800/1900].

But the best part - looks cute.

The disclosure policy concept

This is a funny but intelligent move on the part of PPP to make their posties / bloggers feel strongly about what they are saying about whatever.

This is important and I feel this is an extension to what I said in my last post about hard work at PPP.

They want their posties to have a disclosure policy. And I am giving mine below:-

This policy is valid from 30 October 2006

This blog is a personal blog written and edited by me. For questions about this blog, please contact jetushar@gmail.com.

This blog accepts forms of cash advertising, sponsorship, paid insertions or other forms of compensation.

The compensation received may influence the advertising content, topics or posts made in this blog. That content, advertising space or post may not always be identified as paid or sponsored content.

The owner(s) of this blog is compensated to provide opinion on products, services, websites and various other topics. Hard work at PPP

I have always believed that hard work is directly proportional to money. But hard work is really hard to do and we have seen that in school, college and now work place. We missed parties in college to get that grade and we missed get togethers and alumni meets when working just to ensure that we get that elusive promotion.

And PPP where you are paid to blog, they have come up with a great idea of paying bloggers, and now they are working very hard to make their dream a success. Have a look at the video below to see the stress they take at PPP.

I still believe that there has to be a lot of changes to how things work to make this kind of marketing a real big time success but let us all hope for the best.

And you thought that $3 million means that everything would fall in place by itself?

Maps on mobiles

Nextel has launched an application called MapQuest Find me for the mobile devices which would help you

  1. In finding the location of points of interest
  2. Will tell you where is your current location
  3. Will let you share your location information with trusted group of friends or family
  4. Will help you with the driving directions

If you have a GPS enabled mobile phone then for a small monthly fee you can avail of this novel service which includes the data access.

This might sound new at this moment or not very interesting due to the lack of supported phones but it will soon become an indispensable tool for those on regularly move.

The real estate

Real estate in here has become so damn expensive. The flats, houses that I was thinking would look affordable after an year have gone beyond the imagination's reach. 100% - 300% realization in rates which is totally incredible.

I think nowhere can it appreciate as much as here but maybe in Scottsdale real estate. So if you are trying to look for a place where you can move on for a short or long vacation, you can have a look at it. Anyways I am waiting and watching.

Create your own ringtones

If you have been looking for a ripper than would create ringtones for your mobile phone from your Mp3 and you have been unhappy with the Google results than you might be interested in trying this product called Tone this. They are offering this software which lets you customize your personal photographs, music and videos for your mobile phone.

The best part is that it is a freeware so it would not ask you to shell out $50 for ripping the 2nd Mp3 or would expire after 30 days.

At this moment it supports many Nokia, Samsung, Motorola and Sony Ericsson models and some other brands too

Costa Rica

If you have not gone on vacation for a long time and you want to visit one exotic place which has not been explorer as much by humans plus have some kind of luxury as well then Costa Rica is a great option. The best thing about this place surrounded with water is that it is still untouched by the rampant commercialization which seem to have gripped a whole lot of other vacation places. Plus it has great people, beautiful woman who know how to dance and dance to seduce. But if you come as a tourist who is not ready to move his leg than it could be pretty expensive. Prostitution is legalized in Costa Rica. And there is no dearth of nightlife. One word of caution - carry your own toilet paper. Toilets in Costa Rica generally do not tolerate paper :P

There is much information available on net about Costa Rica and you can also look for some information about the country from a Costa Rica Forum. All in all the place is great fun.

Unlocking Nokia phones

If you have asked your dear friend to send you that latest Nokia model which is released in UK but not your country and your are dying to lay your hands on it and he sends it but you find it to be locked, what do you do?

You get it unlocked. But how?

http://unlock.nokiafree.org is providing a calculator which helps you in unlocking your phone. Although the website name suggests that it would only help you with Nokia but don’t worry, it offers to unlock for Motorola, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, Panasonic and some other brands too by using a remote service which I haven’t tried [in fact I haven’t even tried Nokia too]. But if you have the smooth phone and you are unhappy that it is currently of no use that this calculator is worth a try.

Best loan in UK

We all need money. Sometimes we need money to splurge and sometimes we need it for our bare necessities. But most of the time we need it when we need it the most. Sounds like a Murphy's law, isn't it?

But when we need it the most there are seldom any places where we can go. Credit cards seems to be running over the limits already. And we don't intent to already mortgage our house for this one. What do we do? We began searching for UK personal loans at a place where you can find deals which you never thought existed. You can't expect to find a lending rate of 1% per annum but you would surely find the lowest possible here.

Flash for mobile

Verizon in North America has launched flash enabled mobile phones. These phones are equipped with Flash-lite which helps in rendering Flash slides on the mobile phone. Currently they have released 4 models which include MotoRazr that support Flash applications but it would probably be increased to array of models and brands.

This seems to be an interesting development for the mobile phones as Flash would help content creators to provider rich and interactive applications and graphics to the end-customers. If you are a graphic designer or mobile content creator and would like to create flash application for the mobile devices [because there are potential customers somewhere] than you can download Flash Player for Pocket PC from here - http://www.adobe.com/mobile/.

Super fast cash

What do you do if the only buddy who can lend you $200 now is 150 miles and a week away and you need the cash NOW? You can not touch the bank account because the cheque for the house mortgage EMI are due today. So what do you do?

You knock on the doors of Instant Payday Loan Company. They have a great concept and affordable lending rates. Just take care that you don't use the service to buy those 8th, 9th and 10th tequila shots for yourself ;)

Pocket PC v/s Mobile phone device

Although from an individualistic point of view, day by day mobile phones are becoming popular. With popularity the competition is creeping in. And competition the power of mobile phone devices is increasing as well. But there is one basic difference between the philosophies of usage of the different cadre of mobile phone devices.

Pocket PCs as they are referred to target the business executives and such other professionals. They have:-

  • HTML browsers
  • Office software which supports spreadsheets and presentations, and
  • Email clients.

As in, complete office solution which fulfills the minimum need of a power-user. On the other hand powerful mobile devices satisfy the need for a non-business user by providing him:-

  • Imaging [high resolution camera] and sound capabilities, and
  • Gaming capabilities.

So next time if you are not able to decide which device would suit your requirements best, consider the above pointers.

Importance of SEO

I have tried to write about SEO earlier as well. If you want to study, this could be a hugely interesting topic and challenge to crack in the real-time. You read, how SEO works, up, buy a domain, create your website, submit to popular search engines and see if you make it to the top or top 5, top 10 or even top 100.

But more than just using your knowledge of SEO to win a top spot game, you should really understand how important this is as technology.

You may want to read this SEO Blog which give some great articles are SEO. And it is very important to understand that SEO is not fun and not everybody understands it and you have to have someone who has professionally read SEO techniques to understand your related requirements.

Railway tickets on mobile

If you are traveling by Indian Railways, I had provided a way, to help determine your PNR status through SMS, earlier. At that time I was wondering [or did I hear it somewhere] that they have the project enabling bookings of the railway tickets through mobile, in pipeline as well. I have always been apprehensious of the online transactions because I believe no transaction can be really safe if it is online [but for that matter robbers make even hard-cash transactions unsafe :)].

Getting back to the news, Chiltern Railways in UK have introduced the sending the e-tickets booked through their website to the customerÂ’s mobile. They are offering the customers wanting to travel between Birmingham and London a way to by which after they have made the payment online, they would be sent a barcode through SMS that would be scanned before they would be let on board.

Although this not exactly mobile purchase but Chiltern Railways say that they plan to launch the service that would enable purchase of tickets through mobile as well.

Image reference resource

Check what is Smart and what is Stupid on WordDisplay today

And if you don't understand what I am trying to say here then you can have a look at the blog post for these guys @

http://worddisplay.blogspot.com/2006
/05/worddisplaycom-just-launched.html

The concept that they are offering is a bit confusing. For example, I typed in my alias burf which has no picture attached to it [which is quite understandable and gives you an idea of uniqueness they are trying to create]. Then, I entered the term 'Computer' and the image it turned was of a digital watch something. Which didn't excite me a lot. I also tried Stupid and Smart as suggested.

But what still excites me is the seeming potential. If this idea takes off, everybody would want to put in a image that belong to them and make it popular for the term they choose.

It is as if they are trying to create a new reference resource.

SMS figures world over

“Mobile phone subscribers sent over a trillion SMS messages last year – despite the data entry constraints of cumbersome phone keypads – so one can imagine the potential of this market given a simple and intuitive speech-driven SMS interface,” said Michael Thompson, vice president and general manager, telco, search and communications, Nuance.

The figure of a trillion is for the SMS sent world over. If the cost of sending 50 SMSes is average 1 US Dollar then these figure generate 200 billion US $ which is a huge amount [that too a conservative estimate].

Imagine what would happen if you have a 0.01% share of this market. You are making US $ 20 million a year :O

The inspirational books

I always thought that I would never read inspirational books. I still think so. But I think what I used to think was too rigid. I would not read them, it might be okay but I still read them in some form is true too.

Anyways, I was suggested this Self Help Book. You may have a look at it, if you like.

I read and appreciate Edward De Bono. And now I have started reading the books on management strategies. They have inspiration in them too in some or the other form.

Cellphone signals' problem solved

Cellphones not having good receptions in buildings and in basements and connection links dropping out while even walking inside the house have been a very irritating experience for the mobile phone customers. To overcome this particular problem, T-mobile has come up with a unique solution. They are providing their customer with handsets that are capable of communicating with both the cellular networks as well as the Wi-fi network hubs. This would enable them to get the boosted signals when they are in the Wi-fi spot even if they in a low basement.

They have begun marketing this service on the trial basis in US and they are offering it for a enhanced minimum cost. They would charge for the service up and above of the normal cellphone usage. You can read about the news here.

Jazzy item for your blog

This is cute and this is an ideal jazzy item for your blog.

Make your own Razz!

Although the idea is an extention of something that I have seen earlier. Infact, it has been becoming commonplace with blogs now and now after razz did it, it sounds surprising why haven't people done it before.

Anyways, these guys have come up with this audio recorder product which helps you create your recordings of declerations, welcome messages, normal messages, songs or anything in your own voice and put it up on your blog. You can put even one of the samples provided.

China's mobile subscriptions

If you ever thought that India will beat the world in anything other than the world's highest gold consumption, like mobile phone subscriptions than please have a look at China.

According to a website which was quoting a China's Ministry of Information Industry website, at the end of the month of September the number of mobile phone subscription were 443.15 million. This was an increase of 5.68 million from a month earlier.

This is around 360 million more than the Indian mobile subscribers. Although there have been prediction that the Indian mobile telecom industry would outrun the performance of the Chinese industry but it seems to be a far-fetched prediction to me especially after looking at the figures above.

Healthy food habits

What do you think is the healthy food? Or, do you think that what is healthy is not tasty and what is not tasty must not be healthy? It is very important that we are able to keep our craving for the unhealthy junk food away. Abstinence is not a great tool and the best way to fight it is looking for the second best healthy option. I thing the non-sweetened sugar is one of those food stuffs which have replaced the unhealthy [not for everyone though] food quite efficiently.

These days more and more food stuffs are coming into the market which offer the patients as well as those healthy people a great option to switch to a healthy diet and routine. These food stuffs offer great tastes without discounting the health benefits that they offer.

I was looking for some such food stuff which are primarily healthy and offer good taste too. I found this great website which required to join as a member but offered great benefits in return.

On this website you can read amazingly knowledge-providing articles and also ask for the Free Product Samples [thus avoiding buying something which you do not find very nice in taste or use]. Another great thing about the site is that they send these free samples without any shipping charges.

The new and hot Nokia

Nokia officially launched a new model in its N series day before yesterday.

It is N95 with a kewl 5 Mega pixel camera and it presumably is HSDPA [high speed downlink packet access].

The phone is bulky for my style buds but as I earlier mentioned, the N series rock. A picture of the new thing below:-

What do you think of the hot machine?

Body supplements

It has been long time since I have been exercising regularly. In fact it has been more than 1 year since I quit gym. And it was for a very short time. Not more than 3 months I guess and it did not help much either. Exercising for keeping fit is different and exercises for building the body mass is different. There are, I believe, three stages. One, getting from overweight to ideal body weight, two, maintaining the near ideal weight and third, increasing the body weight [the muscular mass - which anyways does not contribute as much as the skeleton].

I was a lot under weight. I still am but not as much as I was when I was younger. And I joined gym for increasing my body weight. Although I personally never wanted to take steroids any such material, I felt it might be good if you take them in strict consultation with the doctor.

I was looking for some light exercising modules when I stumbled on this website named N101 Nutrition. They sell these natural body supplements. And I think that they have listed the products very nicely and provide great amount of information alongside the products. Have a look.

great deals

If you are in the US then you don't have to go anywhere for the great deals that you can find on Internet. I mean if I would have been there I would have been wasting all my money all day long buying stuff on discount which was of sometimes no use to me. But one thing is sure that there are some faboulous discounts on internet and if we have some equally great website such as dealplus in our bookmarks then we can for sure save some valuable bucks.

I just found two absolutely incredible deals on this website on the very first page which seems to be full of such hot deals. first being the Casio digital watch which i available for JUST $19 and second being a flash drive which is 512 MB going absolutely free with the purchase of $40 worth of stuff. Damn! I should have been there. You can get upto 10 flash drives :O I still can't believe it myself. I will tell you about it as soon as I recall the website name though :p

Taking loans

If you think you know enough about banks and bank loans and mortgage loans before embarking upon taking a huge loan for you house or any such expenditure, think again and preferably research again. There are these banks and other motagaging institutes which first offer huge discounts on their lending rates and then they harass their customers into paying wrong amount. These hidden cost negate the low interest rates and promises that were earlier made by their mortgage companies to their customers.

A friend of mine faced similar issue. He took a loan from a mortgage company offering huge discounts but he later realized that they were engaged in some unfair practices. They used to send incorrect statements and had only paid call-in service worth around $50 per incident to the customer care division. My friend thought it to be a coincidence the first two times but third time he checked out the same with other customers who confirmed his fears of deliberate mistakes in the statements. Although these mistakes were corrected but not before him paying up $50 to the customer service.

English learning

Couple of days back mentioned searching for websites that are offering free courses in learning the Spanish language. I found couple of nice resources for the same too.

And I was referring the findings to a friend when she casually remarked, "hey, first your English mate, then go looking for learning some new language". And she laughed. Other than her beautiful smile what stuck me was what she said. And then I started hunting for some good English resource on net.

I found a lot of websites which were teaching English but they were all doing it for some costs. I wonder if anyone knows of any e-book or any website which can teach English in a structured way, focusing mainly on grammar.

Movies

Comedy has been my all time favorite genre. nothing beats a raunchy british comedy for me. i just love them. but they have to be funny. really funny. there aren't much really good comedies like yesteryears. people seem to just like stupid slapstick now a days. hope my taste don't take a turn from comedy to something else. And even if it should, I would hope it would change to horrors.

Even in case of horrors I like a particular kind of horror movies. i do not like everything that is called horror and that comes my way. horror means thriller with good gory foreseen ending. even the gore can lack blood sometimes but it should not lack the element of keeping the viewer at the edge and away from the dark of the alley.

Let me list my top 3 favorites for both the above genres:-

Comedies:-

1. Carry on series - I don't think there has ever been funnier series of comedy movies. Genuine fun. The way people have acted in these movies have been simply superb. Never ever in these movies would you be able to point the lack of talent in acting or the settings. Or never does it seem that there has been any effort by anyone to create any kind of laugh. And the skin show just makes it all the more better.

2. Hot shots - I believe that in all the modern comedies, Hot shots stand apart. They give you the slapstick but with least punch. And plus they seem to carry some message too.

3. MIB - I love Will Smith and his antics. The way he delivers his dialogues. And the concept is such fun. The pug - an alien. LOL.

Horrors:-

1. Exorcist - The best.

2. The Ring - It was pretty scary too.

3. The Omen 2 - It has to be in this list.

And I am waiting for this one - FrightWorld The Movie World Premiere. The poster below rocks :D

Spanish Lessons

I have learned a foreign language earlier and I liked it although I din't work much hard to not forget it. I haven't forgotten it entirely but I would have loved to not forget it at all. That was German.

Anyways, now I want to learn Spanish. Why? I don't know, I guess I think it is stylish. Or maybe someone said it is stylish and since then I think it is stylish. Whatever, I was looking for some free online Spanish leaning resources. Three of those I think are good are listed below:-

http://www.learn-spanish-online.de/ - I guess the best resource from site's design as well as content's point of view

http://www.june29.com/Spanish/ - Not at all exhaustive, but a good primer to a intermediate language course

http://www.elearnspanishlanguage.com/ - Good amount of content but I don't think the content is structured in an excellent way.

And after you are rocking at speaking Spanish you can either search for Spanish hotties ;) or buying a property in Spain :D to search for Spanish hotties :p

You can check your ticket confirmation status with a value added SMS service at short-code 676747

Impressive avatars

If you ever thought Yahoo! has created the best ever avatar mechanism than you have not really looked at the other available options. If you thought that the cutest and most impressionist smileys are created and integrated in yahoo messenger than you are wrong again. There are services which let you create and integrate such beautiful smileys and avatars that you would be wondering if avatar creation can ever get any better. From changing the clips in the hairs to the color of the shoe laces, it is all customizable. But what really is the use of an avatar. Sometimes when you are too active in a forum or a user-group where there are a lot of people saying different things, there you need to reflect that you have a unique personality to really impress on people. You have to sometimes blind them with your personality. But that is the precise problem with being online. You can not really “show” a precise personality [have a look below].

But this problem is somewhat solved by the avatars. You can make people re-read your lines just because you have an impressing avatar. Not only forums, avatars are very helpful in online gaming scenarios. And this is one place where you can look for Dress Up Games and Dollmakers. You can choose from host of different avatars which you can use in forums, user-groups and online competitions or any place where you have an online profile and where it lets you have an avatar defining your personality.

Cellular subscribers

Delhi has more number of vehicals that Calcutta, Mumbai and Chennai combined.

This principle seems to hold true in case of Cellular subscribers as well.

There are 25 Lacs Airtel and 20 Lacs Hutch subscribers in Delhi and there are 15 Lacs Airtel and 22 acs Hutch subscribers in Mumbai and there are overall around 8 Lacs less subscribers in Mumbai than Delhi.

Great amazing figures. Click here if you want to see more.

movers

Moving is a great hassle and a very frequent activity in big cities. And since the silicon valley has established, great many people have shifted towards or in to that place and equally large number of people are always looking for courier and movers options and it is a sorry state. this has led to an escalation in the prices of movers and rental options too. So there is an increasing chunk of people who are looking for the storage options. They are leaving behind the cumbersome big-sized stuff behind at some cost-effective location back and moving to the new city with minimum stuff which is expediting their settlement process.

And in a country like US, there are lots such options which provide different packages with different options at different rates. This leads to the need of a directory where one can search for look at different available options in the market. Self Storage Directory - Moving.bz is one such great option. It has an online estimation option with advanced variables. Also, there is much literature containing general moving tip and damage and insurance claim related information. Do have a look.

Managed services

Popularity of a new form of Managed Services Software is fast begining to gain pace. It is a great solution for the small business setups who can't really afford all those high-end softwares. By shelling out small maintainence like fees to a great service provider like Secure My Company [see a snapshot below], they could worry less about the online attacks on their business setup and concentrate more on their actual business priorities.

I myself have at some point of time considered one such business. It totally makes sense. It is a win-win situation for everybody. The company dont have to buy $500 and such worth of enterprise software for mere 5 or 10 workstation licences and also they don't have to build a whole army of IT support professionals when they want more marketing guys on their payrolls.

Toll-free numbers 3

It has been some days since I have provided the useful toll-free numbers. Third in this series, here I am giving below some more

TV shopping products

The products that are generally shown on TV for sale are very flashy. I mean not the normal ads but those products which you can't find in shops or don't come under a regular big brand name but are very nice pieces of equipments. I sometimes really like to see the models demonstrating the efficiency of these kind of products on TVS and all. I have always like products like Ultimate Chopper and 5-in-1 sofa/bed solution. I once even thought of buying that 5-in-1 because of its ease of use and such number of applications.

If you haven't seen either of them then you should have a look at the demo run of these. They seems amazing but frankly speaking, I do not have any first hand reviews of any of these products. Maybe soon.

Nokia N-series

There have been much sound about Nokia N series phones. When I first looked at them I was really not impressed becasue I was not able to recognize the reasons why they are such expensive. But you have to use one of them to understand what is good about them. I won't compare them with other brands becasue then there would be other variables in play. Some reasons [layman level] why I think N-series are expensive are:-

  1. Camera quality - The sensor is Carl Zeiss, which provider mega difference in picture quality clicked from new 6233 2 MP and N70 2 MP.
  2. Graphics - You should see the smoothness of corners on the scren. Obviously the pixel count has to be huge.
  3. Colours - Although it could be increased contrast but the density of colours is great and the spectrum too.
  4. Processing speed - I haven't read much about the OS and the RSIC used in N series but the friend who has it is clearly impressed by its processing speed.

search lists

I don't know if people have used IE7 as much but I know of many people who have adopted Firefox. And the visible feature which I think is the best other than tabbed browsing is the integrated search box where you can select the search engine like you do in a list box.

So talking about these search lists, you can add the search lists from the addon page of Firefox website or you can add search providers to IE7 and Firefox 2 from here. This site has hundreds of search list and some very interesting ones. One of my personal favorite is Google Lyrics and YouTube.

As I told earlier, there is no need to add any additional toolbar which is the best part of this website. And this facility is now adopted by Microsoft too in the new version of IE. Also, I believe that my favorites are public favorites as well because they are listed in the popular searches that are listed on the home page. And if you want to add your own search plugin or widget that it's easy to add as well.

The best part is that this site is non commercial, so hopefully no fees in future :D

miss chaudhary

If you ever thought what is so hot about ritu [mahima] chaudhary, you were right, nothing except her cleavage. which sure is super hot and she sure knows how to sell it [no need to direct your kind attention towards the cards ;), i guess]. she has just become a brand ambassador for 3patti.net, some kind of gambling site, i presume.

I went to see her 1st movie because I thought she looked insanely beautiful. she still has some kinda sex appeal about her, though I don't know what's missing now.

great discounts

I just bought my new digital camera. although i wasn't really aware of the discount coupons that are available, i was looking for some good discounts which i unfortunately did not get. I always thought that the discounts coupons are only available for good for nothing free stuff. But these CouponChief guys changes by thinking.

I am thinking of buying a laptop for myself and I guess I would love to go for a better configuration with the help of a dell online coupons at this website.

They have overstock.com on their list too. The list is pretty decent. Have a look and I am sure, you would like to use a couple of coupons for yourself.

what are you reading?

I have bought and started The McKinsey Way yesterday. I also bought The Toyota Way. I will try to post my review of the book soon. At this moment I look forward to read and learn a lot from the much appreciated book:-

Tell me what are you reading these days?

bag of chocolates

i promised that i would post a picture of the lovely bag of chocolates that we are enjoying these day.

they are absolutely awesome. i just fear a lot for my teeth :p

have a look at this:-

the changing pessimists

frankly speaking, i would have loved it if the available opportunities count would have been growing. when i joined it and when i submitted my first post [which was unfortunately rejected :p], the count was 115 plus but since than it has been decreasing. and at this moment when i logged in, the total available opportunites wer 85. I mean I wouldn't be a lot worried but other than that kewl $3 M shot and the future-belongs-to-blog-based-marketing-in-some-way philosophy there really isn't much to be really very optimistic about.

but then this latest buzz-the-postie thing happened. i mean it is shocking and it is nice. i liked it because it seems that the guys at payperpost are really trying to start some relationships with the bloggers [or posties as they call them]. this is really making me change my unhappy pessimist attitude. till now i was praying the opportunites increase for the buck's sake but now i want them becuase i feel for it too.

and hell, the video was rocking. guys, would you fly to my place, please? damn! i loved the part where he was knocking at all the neighbours' doors for the cream... lol

sinful pleasure

I wrote about what a beauty of an item I got. But I did not write about a beauty of an item that I got. So now I would tell you about the beauty of an item that I got but that I did not write about.

The thing is called Lindt :D

Truffles, two flavors - milk and extra dark

I don't know why eating chocolate is sinful but I guess rather the gluttony that follows is sinful :p

If any of you can't understand the big deal about a chocolate, then come to my place. I will let you taste the answer of why ;)

I don't have a pic right now, but will post one soon.

mobile phone cameras

When i bought my first computer, i still remember that i had 4 gb hard disk. it was the largest and most popular in that consumer category. at that time I thought that it is more than enough of storage space that I would ever need. After some months as the storage space was increasing, I thought a bit more space won't be a big deal. And then 3 years down the lane I bought a 40 gb hard disk. And it can still do me enough service and then there would be some much huge sized hard disk and it would again seem to be just enough to me. it would go on and on.

These days the concentration has changed to something else. this something else being the camera phones. 6-8 months back, i saw some pics of sony ericsson's black diamond. it was one of the most beautiful phone i have ever seen. beautiful than motorazr. i loved it. and the best part is that it had 4 mega pixel camera. those were the times when vga camera was the norm and 1.3 mega pixel was the latest rage.

Some days back, Samsung launched a 10 mega pixel camera phone. I was like, "What???". I don't know where this competition would stop. But a phone can not replace a digital camera. A digital camera can't replace a SLR and so on and so forth.

Anyways while looking for that camera phone on net I landed on this UK site which was selling Samsung mobile phones for the UK network carriers. And they have some really nice range of phones. You might want to look at their range.

Latest toy

Which is your latest gadget or which one tops your get-it list?

Johny boy has just got a kewl new PSP console for himself. I think that is one pretty cool thing to own. I have just got my new mp3 player. It is a 1 Gb Creative Zen Nano. It is as big as a matchbox. Lighter than a lighter and looks cute. Have a look at it here. Also, I got a new 512 MB Sandisk SD card on which these pics are being recorded and now I am recording them at full 4 mega pixel :D

i am loving it :D

the flash drive

my mp3 player has arrived. yay!!! and i am so happy.

it is 1 gb and the features include back illuminated digital display, major format support, voice recorder, flash drive recorder, and comes with headset. can also be docked into self-amplified speakers. now i would search for some good speakers. altec lansing has some real good such speakers.

there are lot of some really good flash-drivers coming into the market. and the prices are really competitive. so much so that you can afford to drop them on the basis of their looks. have a look at the following Custom Thumb Drives:-

they look great and come in nice colors. the capabilities they are available in are 512 MB, 1 GB, 2 GB and 4 GB. Pretty good for having a storage media in your pcoket which in which you can carry personal and/or classiffied data.

dengue prevention - papaya leaves

I have got a forward which says that the papaya leaves work wonders with dengue.

You have to crush them and drink two spoonful of juice a day. it is very bitter and it has to be swollowed. I am not sure about the authenticity and I don't know about side-effects, if any.

But it may be well suggested to someone whose near and dear one is sufferring and there is little hope. I hope it is true and it helps someone.

And everybody please educate all the poor people who you know to keep the cleanliness.

fast and smooth

There are two very important things that you should keep in mind if you have a very bright idea and you want to transform into next big thing. those are:-

1. fast implementation
2. adaptability

The best and latest example is YouTube [people have short memory as they say - i guess this was the dialogue in some movie] . the guys made $1.65 Billion :O and why weren't break.com able to do the same. Have a look at the reason number 2 above. The soul of both the websites are same.

So if you have a next big idea and if it is related to internet, then convert it into a website - fast, faster than what fast means. and ensure that people from all shape, size, caste, creed, race, sex walks of life are able to enjoy it and use it [ease of use/interactivity].

So how fast can you think you have a great looking website up. Less than 2 days if you ask me; Yes! you read it correct. 48 hours is just what websitesin48hours.com take if you ask them to make a great website. i have seen the templates by them, the pics and placement are great. do check them out. they can probably launch you in the million $ club in 48 hours ;)

Dengue prevention drug

There is a homeopathic drug called Eupatorium perfoliatum 200 which can be helpful in prevention of Dengue fever.

You can read more about it here or on my other blog.

Please create awareness about this apparently incurable and potentially fatal disease which is transforming into an epidemic.

ethical blogging

blog advertising is not a new concept.

since google brought hit the market with a bang and since it started paying webmasters money for including [and then getting them to be clicked] the [relevant or not is another topic for debate] ads in their websites and then since blogs become a rage and google let bloggers include the adsense into their blogs and make money off them, the advertising for products for which they feel positive or not has been there.

what i don't understand is why are there cries for ethics. which websites do really review the practices of the people or businesses they endorse on their websites. or which big celebrities review the products they endorse. so why flog a poor blogger about writing about a product and make $5 [an hypothetical estimate] off it. but then yes, blogging close to personal and a bit far from commercial.

anyways, i am watching the debate and enjoying it :)

online learning

Have you ever tried online learning?

I have done a 3 month certification course in Project Management and I think it was a waste of time. But I still think that it was a waste of time because I think the course was not supported well. The faculty wasn't great and we weren't told that the area that the course would focus on wouldn't even be remotely related to my field of interest.

But I think online learning is great, nonetheless. And there is this university called Capella University which provide 76 graduate and under-graduate specializations and 16 certificate specializations. A great feat for an online setup. If you are interested in doing an online course from somewhere then you can have a look at them. But I would suggest you to take a demo class and do check out the comprehensive instructions and course listings before joining.

Also, do check the recognition status of the institute with the regulatory authorities.

hosting solutions provider

By now most of you must have come to know how much time had I devoted in to searching for a reliable, cost-effective and good hosting solutions provider from where I can buy some space. i have already written a mail about my some minimal requirements which were:-

1. More than 500 MB space
2. Unlimited bandwidth
3. WAP support
4. FTP support
5. Unlimited email accounts
6. Free MySQL server

I finally got one after lots of research and email about the prices of the packages. Some were even open to the negotiations. Anyways the experience was worth.

But one most important thing that I missed above [anyways I couldn't have checked it first hand] was downtime. You must always check downtime performance claims and probably ask for one in the quote.

I also saw a hosting provider named Hosting Zoom who were pitching their sales on some cluster failover technology and not just giving tall claims of 100% uptime and all. really impressed me. you should have a look too at it if you are looking for some webspace. And do tell me what you think one should look at while looking for a hosting solutions provider other than 7 things I have specified above.

shozu

Have any of you tried shozu?

They have created this widget which help you upload your pics directly from your mobile to an array of supported websites. you have to create an account and download the application if your phone model is supported [many nokia models are well supported].

What I don't like about the application [I tried it on Nokia 6600] is its huge installer size which is near about 500 kb. a bit more that much for a mobile app. and it takes a heavy toll of the phone's processing power. Try it at your own risk.

interesting blogs

i don't really read all that many blogs until and unless it is:-

1. by a hot babe in my city ;)
2. by a friend
3. hugely popular commerical technical blog like gizmodo or lifehacker

but then i randomly read blogs which do not have novel-length posts. some of them are funny, some hilarious and some very informative. but some are none but still important :p like the blog at PPP. it was their blog whoch really made me believe that they have a bright future. i still ain't convinced that the blog that they have would be hugely popular with people not connected to them and that they would be able convince people to advertise on blogs with that, but it is a nice informative place to get info about what is going on. i just hope that they make more and more money and we bloggers too :D

beautiful evening

It was normal evening yesterday.

I like sitting besides big windows. I like the sun.

But I wasn't getting a chance in the new office. So I go to the windows whenever I like. Yesterday I went to the window near dusk and saw the array of bulbs shining for the construction work that was to apparently continue through the night. They had such a soothing effect that I just took the phone out and clicked the pic.

bright future?

have anyone of you seen or heard about the story behind payperpost.com. they are paying good money to bloggers for posting 100 word posts??? i mean, if you look at it from another point of view, people who enjoy writing and have had regularly blogging are being paid nice amounts even if they have bad grammar.

are these paypost people getting money from al-qaida? someone on my blogroll was saying on her blog the other day that she opted out of joining payperpost because she read on some news site that payperpal are going to ask all their bloggers to post all the praises of bush and second him on his decision to destroy afghanistan and iraq. But in reality Bush is a partner in crime with laden and he has agreed to split up all the oil wells when he retires and gift atleast 6 wells to payperpost [better than any venture funding ;) ]. has anyone else read that news too?

or are payperpost like me? when it is about money, i don't really think much :p i just try to check out that i am not selling anything which can be degenerating the society in any way. infact degeneration of the society is very subjective and open-to-debate topic but i think normal straight-forward businesses like selling cigarettes, pan masala and such stuff is wrong and should not be encouraged. but then the money is too good for some people to ignore it or not want it.

hopefully i don't do any such thing in future. but thinking about future, what future does ads on blogs have? Today AdSense is hot. And people are telling me that it is going to be the thing of past soon. Is this true? There are some intermittent news [rumors] of Google bad-practices. I don't really know the future or even the present. But I think that this PPP [payperpost.com] thing is smooth. Atleast they have lots of opportunities with them which they can provide to bloggers who can make money. It is a lot encouraging. I hope this becomes the future and I become rich [not much - just a 5 bedroom bunglow with great lawn and a SUV and a prosche :D ].

books

do you read books?

i feel that in our society, reading is not encouraged as much as it should be. this is, i think, one of the most important reason of the popularity of the K-serials and such soaps. they are bloddy ruining the whole generation. i mean, i don't know if you can it a generation because half of the middle aged females seem to be wathcing them. i guess if they would have been into reading then this world [society] would have been a much better society. you secure marks by reading course texts but you become wise by reading books.

so, people get into the habit of reading, now.

want a recommendation? here is my favorite:-

~ A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson

so now, recommend me your favorite :)

file security issues

i have always liked the PDF files for one major reason. the security. the provide the secuity to a doument like no other. You have different levels of security. You can secure your document against printing even when it is available for reading. Although there are ways to skirt that but printing screen is really very poor option which do not give you as good results. and i have always wondered how designers secure their files. i am referring to architects and interior designers. they create such huge data which includes days of work and it is a pitiful situation if someone just pick it up, copy and paste it and use it without paying you a dime for your hard-work.

and i stumbled across this product which seems to provide the answer to these designers. i have a cousin who is an interior designers and she generally emails here CAD drawings. i would suggest her to give this file security product a try. if this product save her even one file from being unauthorizedly copied once, it will be worth its cost.

the freeware FTP client

Do you have a website/blog where you need to use FTP tp upload your files? Or do you use any kind of FTP software? I have just got 3 new domains and 1 hosting web-space. And thus I was feeling a need of having a good and light FTP client which would e a freeware too. So I went to download.com and typed freeware ftp client and it gave me some which huge user and editor ratings. most of them were sharewares. and then i saw this. less than 2MB setup and a freeware. i download, unzipped and ran the setup. it was all without any errors and then i strsted upload my files. the whole process was smooth.

I liked it pretty much. you can download it from here. The name is Fastream NetFile FTP Client 6.0.

If you still don't want any such jazzy item and are comfortable with commandline then you can use Windows own FTP client [press F1 on desktop and type FTP commands in index] or PSFTP, the putty FTP client which can do secured FTPs too. Nice one. I have used putty for ssh connections a lot at my workplace.

productive meetings

i read a report last month which said that meetings are just a waste of time. if you are inviting 10 people for a half an hour meeting, you are wasting 5 man-hours on a congregation which is not guaranteed to reach a conclusion, let alone prove productive. But we all attend meeting, make calls for meetings and want to meet people for meetings? why? i guess we are short of ideas and we need support, moral support, when we find we are out of wits and options.

anyways, there are softwares included inside softwares which help you schedule and manage meetings. oink!!! did i say manage???? i am sorry, i don't think MS Outlook really provides you a complete solution for "managing" meetings. but i think there is this scheduling software which does so. i haven't tried it first hand but i think if you are into daily scheduling of meeting than your should give this one a try. :)

look what i did to myself

there was this unique but innovative competetion going on this new website payperpost.com. they were asking their members to write the name of the website on a body-part, click the photograph and then host it somewhere and display the pic in the post. this would fetch you 10 bucks ;)

i was busy doing all the hard work and messing with my hands, fingers and toes with the permanent marker when i click on the button to submit my request and found that the contest or opportunity has been expired. a lot amusingly irritating it was. anyways i am posting the pic here :p

something about searching

i have written about search engine optimisation where i have explained how search engine listings work and how are they important for people who have their websites. More importantly for those people who have interests in placing their websites above anything. Why is placing your site up above in major search engine result listings so important. It has been determined by some research that a visitor generally do not go beyond the 3rd page of a search result. It means that you have to have your page in the first 3 pages to really get yourself some visitors until and unless a visitor is specifically looking for your site or for something that is available on your website.

for this a new concept of pay per click advertising is gaining momentum these days. in this mode of advertising you submit your website to google, pay them some amount and when the user searches for some keywords which matches your description, your site is listed on the top in the [paid search] list. this could be a pretty efficient way of gathering visitors, it is just that you have to have some consultancy from a professional organisation who would determine what keywords you should be choosing and which search engines you should be submitting to.

the bloom

If you are driving on the long straight road in Delhi around the rainy season, you would see many bushes in bloom. Rate some of the examples below:-

another one:-

blogs

i don't know how many of you follow blog which do not speak about personal lives of the bloggers. but then i guess most of the people around us are writing just personal stuff on the blogs. but i have seen blogs which are not the commerical blogs where people have been writing about their hobby, exclusively. I have even om was saying that he is going to start a travel blog where he would give information about how you can make your trips better and cost-effective. how he plans to do it or what all plans does he have in his mind is still a quiz to me. and not just this, i have seen people writing about their photography skills on the blog and sometimes you really get some non-commercial tips in first person which is great. Also there are blogs where people write about their we-designing skill and post the templets for free download and all. it is all so cool. and then i stumbled on this trivia blog. they have given so much trivia about so many lifestyle things that you would keep on smiling and getting surprised reading all that.

body markings

After tatooing my hand and feet with permanent marker and bringing myself in a rather embarrassing situation i think all the efforts are going to the bin. actually these payperpost guys are having some kind of paint your body kind of gig going on where you have to write the name of their website on any of your body part [which should be allowed to be viewed in public] and they would give away $10 for that. and i was busy messing up with all the parts and all then in the end it seems it would get me nothing except the blackened hands and fingers and feet and toes :(

Have a dekko at this company

I don't have a great idea about this new concept regarding online contract management but there is this company who have come up with Contract Management Software.

They claim to help you with your company affairs by helping in betteing your company's customer relationship management, by better managing the risks and most importantly by convertint the contracts so that you are in better state to manage them.

I think I have to read the service that they are offering at length so as to understand what they are trying to offer.

the country

the country is going to wolves.

i mean, i thought it is just bush who is selling off his country to all these terrorists but the world i love is no less the same. the most disgusting thing is that people are defending a terrorist who bombed one of the most important buildings in your country. it is equivalent to the soverignity of the country. and there are people who say "no this i not the guy who fired" especially when they know that people are dying and these terrorist are being encouraged precisely due to the fact that they consider India a soft target. these demonstrations are all the more annoying when you see they are happening against the decision of the supreme court of the country.

God, please bless my country.

get paid for blogging

i have been crazy about making money off my blog which is why i have messed up my blog at least once. am very close to doing it the second time. the problem is that i have a personal bragging blog where i write about all girlie stuff, thaose heart-breaks and all and then i want to commericalise it by way of taking projects and assignments which don't really look good in between my serious blabbeing... guess i have started on the mission again.

anyways, this time i am trying to create a new blog which is not exactly new becasue i started it nearly the same time as my oldest blog for testing purposes. but it evovled into a great blog and i am glad it is serving me in the fashion it is slated to be.

cutting long story short, i have come across this site payperpost.com [actually it was johnny junior who referred me to the site for which he deserves $5, but alas i guess he lost them :P] who seem to be hit it big some day. i have worked with other such paid blog advertising services as well but these guys has got some kewl $3 million funding which is incredible. anyways, the point is that they are asking people to make a 30-second commercial for them for which they are going to pay upto $2000 [if selected] which is real nice amount.

i think i would have for sure tried something if i had something in mind. i am hard at thinking something nonetheless. :D

Men

A man boards a Jet Airways airplane Delhi to Mumbai and takes his seat.

As he settles in, he glances up and sees a very beautiful woman boarding the plane.

He soon realizes she's heading straight towards his seat. Lo and behold, she takes the seat right beside his.

Eager to strike up a conversation, he asks "Business trip or vacation?"

She turns, smiles, and says, "Business. I'm going to the annual Sexologists Convention."

He swallows hard. Here is the most gorgeous woman he has ever seen, sitting next to him, and she's a sexologist!

Struggling to contain his excitement and maintain his composure, he calmly asks, "What's your business role at this convention?"

"Lecturer," she says, "I use my experience to debunk some of the popular myths about sexuality."

"Really?" he says, swallowing hard. "What m-m-m-myths are those?"

Well," she explains, "one popular myth is that Black men are the best endowed when, in fact, it's the Tamilian who is most likely to
possess that trait.

Another popular myth is that French men are the best lovers, when actually it is the Bengali.

However, we have found that the best potential lover in all categories is the Sardarji."

Suddenly, the woman becomes a little uncomfortable and blushes. "I'm sorry," she says, "I shouldn't be discussing this with you. I don't even know your name!"

"Venkatraman!" the man blurts. " Venkatraman Mukherjee! But my friends call me Santa Singh!"

Keeping your blog secret

Waise, I aint doing a great deed for the boys community by teaching people [girls] how to keep their blog a secret.

Secret, in a way that it won't be crawled, thus indexed by search engine spiders.

The simple way is to add a meta tag to you blog HTML. The tag should look like:-

I would write more about meta-tags and search-engines crawlers and indexing later.

ReCellular comes to HongKong

Every one of us must have at some point of time cringed at the sight of a rag-picker doing rounds of our block. But they are an important component in the commercial ecosystem of recyclers. And I made this observation when I read that recyclers can be a million dollar industry too.

A mobile recycling company called ReCellular has set foot in HongKong as they believe that proximity to world's largest mobile telecommunication market in China would have a long term impact on their business. ReCellular is known to be the biggest mobile recyclers in the world with a capacity of more than a hundred thousand phones per month.

adventure

a lot of people, especially youth, have taken gandhiji seriously after munna bhai lage raho. i haven't really seen the movie but i still respect the fact that it moved people to do something. or atleast make them aware of gandhiji's principles or how can they be interpreted in contemporary times. but if you still think that he took some ghastly decisions or has some personal motives behind some of his actions, i suggest you be equipped with some historical facts [which ofcourse can always be misinterpreted and twisted].

Chinese Grand prix, Oct 2006

Accidently while shuffling the channels in the morning i saw the warm-up lap of todays F1. the only race i was able to catch live in the whole season. i was overjoyed to see the rain-soaked circuit becasue i knew deep-down in my heart at that very instance that shumi will win this one. the doubts cropped up as soon as i saw the driver stadings on the circuit after the 1st lap which saw renault duo out ahead and shumi at 6th position and rain gone but air still having good amount of moisture and track had water at many spots. and i saw schumi jumping to 4th spot within next 6 laps. and then the bloddy power failure.

and now when i read the report, i see that shumi won the race and is now on the top of this season's driver standing. i dunno if he will win this year's championship but he is retiring and i think he deserves it.

this guy rocks.
